The sequencing of gene coding for 16S r-RNA is a complementary tool for phenotypic characters analysis used in bacteria identification. Indeed, in some cases, classical identification gives no acceptable results in terms of identification itself (rare or difficult-growing bacteria, misfit API panels ... ). The 16S r-RNA gene sequencing, present among all bacteria species, is a precious help in identification or to confirm a presumptive identification.
